Hotel Du Vin is a luxury boutique hotel chain with sixteen locations across some of the UK’s most famous university and cathedral cities. Famed for its passion for exceptional food and wine the name “Hotel du Vin” was a reference to the owner, previously a Master Somelier, and his unrivalled wine expertise.
Modern interruptions of classic styling with a contemporary muted colour palette was our starting point. These premium uniforms we created have Anglo-French styling that respects both the historical period features of each of the sixteen properties, whilst retaining a present-day refined edge.
Traditional French brasseries have influenced the cut and styling of the bar and bistro uniforms with the waistcoat featuring a shawl collar. The bib front shirt gives a nod to French styling, whilst being refined and modernised in a pick and pick shirting. To finish off the pieces the aprons have been given a classically dark burgundy tone reminiscent of a rich merlot wine.
Designs are contemporary with just enough styling details of a classic French bistro, to retain the air of familiarity, whilst keeping that all important quintessential British look. Delivering a refined high quality uniform true to the hotels values whilst elevating the customer experience.
