Ikos & Sani – Redefining Luxury All-Inclusive Hospitality

ounded in 2015, the Sani & Ikos Group has truly raised the bar in terms of its award-winning luxury holiday experiences within the bountiful Mediterranean region.  

Under the brand names Sani Resort and Ikos Resorts, the group develops, preserves, and operates over 3,450 rooms and suites spread across 12 unique resorts in Greece and Spain, all ranked amongst the best luxury resorts in the world.

Guests can expect nothing but the best during their stay; a plethora of outdoor experience from archery, treetop adventures, sailing, snorkelling, and nature watching, Michelin-starred menus as well as top shelf drinks, fully loaded children’s programs, heavenly spas, and culture passes allowing guests access to local museums and historical monuments.  There is nothing they have not thought of - even a complimentary Tesla is offered for the day to explore the local landscapes and ancient sites!

And the luxury offer doesn’t stop there!! In 2022 Sani & Ikos Group together with Studio 104 began a dream uniform collaboration to redefine and elevate its uniform offering.  For the range to be a success, not only was it important for Studio 104 to hit the design brief to ensure it is as impressive and in tune with the resort aesthetic, but it also had to bewell thought out to ensure all items worked operationally and commercially for the group’s impressive and ever-growing multi-property portfolio.  

And as more properties are launched, Studio 104 has enjoyed creating new uniform ideas tocompliment and grow the program.

We took the time to interview Sakis Karavidas Group Procurement Director for Sani & Ikos Group (SIG) to discuss his thoughts on the collaboration:

What do you enjoy most about Ikos and Studio 104’s uniformcollaboration?

“I think the most crucial element is that Studio 104 has the same vision that SIG has. This makes the collaboration run smoothly."

"The final product reaches our expectations and Studio 104’s administration process isabsolutely phenomenal. To design and produce uniforms from scratch is a very complicated project. It can be said that a lot of designers failed to reach the deadlines but with Studio 104 I feel secure”

 What was is like working with the Studio 104 team?

"Sarah, Studio104 COO’s work make me feel secure and confident, and Christine, Studio 104’s Senior Product Developer, and the rest of the production team’s work is always so detailed, which I love. Sheetal, Studio 104 CCO’s work on figures is alway accurate, although I tried a lot of times to find a mistake and I did not. So, I stopped."  

What do the staff & guests think of the program?

"Boardmembers, staff, and guests are very satisfied with the product."

Can you tell us a little bit about any future projects for SIG?

"SIG will continue develop the uniform product for the upcoming five years at least. Our upcoming projects are; Ikos Kissamis in Crete, Ikos Cortecia in Portuga, Ikos Pino Par in Marbella, and the total renovation of Sani Beach Hotel and Sani Beach Club and many other small projects."

Stefanie Tschirky, Studio 104’s Head of Design, serves as the Design Project Lead for the Ikos and Sani projects. She, along with Studio104's Design and Product Development Team, has developed a resort collection for Ikos Porto Petro in Mallorca. Inspired by the breathtaking surroundings of Mallorca, the collection encapsulates the essence of the island's charm with its use of natural textures and Mediterranean architectural elements. Beyond the aesthetic appeal, the collection's practicality and durability cater to the demands of a luxury all-inclusive resort, ensuring a seamless blend of fashion and functionality. Overall, Studio 104 has crafted a timeless and chic collection that reflects the unique beauty and cultural richness of Ikos Porto Petro and its picturesque Mallorcan setting.
