Our Process: Working with Studio 104
reating high end, bespoke uniform to an exceptional standard and on schedule, requires an experienced process. This way of working is the backbone of Studio 104 and is constantly refined. To achieve the highly creative and collaborative work, that Studio 104 are known for, we follow every stage of our unique process for our clients' success.
Creative Concepts & Design
Through meticulous research, we listen to your requirements, focus on the priorities and ensure every detail is covered.
We pride ourselves on our unique ability to deliver incredible concepts, translated from the culture, heritage and vision of your place. Our concepts are presented through beautifully crafted moodboards, statement looks, impactful colour palettes and key design attributes. Only when the stakeholders are happy with our direction, do we progress to the design phase.
Trained by the luxury fashion houses, our Creative Team draws up your uniform designs with elegant couture illustrations. Each outfit is shown in a staff line-up alongside chosen fabric and trim boards, indicating colour and texture. On agreement technical packs are created showing garment construction, detailing and final measurements.
Product Development & Quality Control
Our designs are brought to life with proto samples for review on real models. We carry out a minimum of 3 to 4 sampling stages, in order for our Pattern Cutters to refine shape and our Product Development Team to improve fabrics, for greater durability and functionality.
The practice of ethical sourcing and manufacturer is of great importance to Studio 104. Therefore we only work with fabric mills that comply with Oeko-Tex, and ITF traceability certification. All fabrics are sourced from corporate fabric mills and tested to the highest international standards. Carried out by accredited laboratories these tests ensure our final garments achieve strict corporatewear specifications.
Our garments are subjected to rigorous laundry testing during our development process to certify all products can withstand a high number of garment cleanses and is fit for purpose. Once a size breakdown of your staff is agreed we hit the button on the entire uniform production. On receipt of the uniform shipment the Studio 104 technical team conducts our own quality check at the warehouse, before delivery is made to the client.
Warehousing & Aftercare
One of the most exciting days for your team is the arrival of their new uniforms. We provide a Staff Fit Day where our Development Leads and a Professional Tailor issue out the uniform, making sure that each person is wearing the correct size and to complete last minute alterations.
If space is an issue or you have multiple sites, we can warehouse your stock. It is a safe and organized environment that is fully secured. We offer an ‘Order Management System’ where our clients and management teams can order their uniform for delivery next day. Our system offers live stock updates and alerts when stock is running low. This is an ideal system to help clients manage usage volumes across a portfolio of sites at the click of a button.
