The Great Success Behind The 104 Collection
he last two years have been very difficult for the hospitality industry in particular. And as we enter into the third year of the pandemic everyone’s thoughts are to try and return to some sort of normality, with travel and holidays being one of the main topics of conversation.
As international travel still provides some uncertainty, the ‘Staycation’ is continuing to be the go-to option for many travellers, and with a huge selection of incredible locations throughout the UK they are not going to be disappointed.
Keeping employees within these resorts and hotels looking incredible can be a challenge, but the 104 Collection could be the perfect option for a uniform refresh just in time for the summer rush, especially given the short lead time.
This still quite young collection has already seen great success amongst a number of high profile UK brands including The Ritz London, The Beaumont, Macallan Experience Centre and Sotheby’s with more in the pipeline.
The 104 Collection is a pre-designed range of luxury uniform that can be produced in just 3 months (twice the usual pace of our bespoke projects) and to a smarter cost.
A wide palette of colours is available so that each client can personalise their uniform to its individual brand identity, making no two uniforms the same. And with the range currently standing at close to 100 designs and growing weekly, there will undoubtedly be something suitable for all types of client.
And although design and fabrics are important, the fit and longevity of a luxury uniform garment is vital to alleviating some of the headaches that are sometimes found when sourcing a new uniform provider.
Fully understanding the construction of a garment and how it will be worn day to day is key to delivering a product that fits well and endures the conditions that luxury uniform garments are required to go through.
Here at Studio 104, there is a rigorous and lengthy development process for all items of luxury uniform, and simple measures like asking our live fitting models to bend and stretch in the garments is often the simplest tool to ensuring the perfect fit. Understanding body sizing is also key to creating the right pattern and technical specifications of a luxury uniform garment.
Finally but most importantly, sustainability and ethical sourcing are at the core of every process here at Studio 104 and this is continued throughout every collection developed.
Uniform in itself is sustainable due to its very nature given the amount of times each garment is worn, but sourcing the right fabrications and localising production is also a vital step.
More information on our 8-step ‘Future Friendly Uniform’ approach can be found in CREATING HIGH-END UNIFORM FIT FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.
